York Beer and Cider Festival

The festival is open! We have over 300 British real ales, 70 foreign beers and 100 ciders and perries for you to enjoy.

Many of the real ales are brewed within 25 miles of York. A panel of judges sampled these at a tasting session and have decided the LocAle beers of the festival.

Our festivals are all about having fun while enjoying great beers and ciders. If you haven't been to one before, we've prepared a step-by-step guide to take you through the basics and answer some common questions.
