Welcome to the York Beer & Cider Festival 2010 Website

Following the tremendous success of our 2009 first outdoor festival, York Knavesmire (Tadcaster Road end) is once again the location for this years York Beer & Cider Festival. Increased capacity means we will be able to offer up to 250 beers, up to 50 ciders and perries, a foreign beer bar, wine and soft drinks.

There’ll be live music on the Friday and Saturday evenings as well as a good range of food from mainly local caterers and other stalls. There’ll be a large amount of seating – inside the tent if it’s wet, with some outside if the weather’s good. Children are welcome during the afternoon sessions.

If you’re a CAMRA member (or if not, why not join?) please consider coming to volunteer at the festival. There are all sorts of different jobs available from helping to set up the site (and earn beer tokens to enjoy while the event is open) to working during the festival and of course taking the site down at the end. Jobs during the festival are varied, not just serving the beer and cider. All volunteers will get free food and drinks for their efforts. For more information on staffing and a link to our online staffing form, please click here.

The festival site is less than 15 minutes from York Station and is served by regular buses (12 Acomb Park, 4 FTR Acomb, 13/13A Copmanthorpe and the Coastliner).
