That's it for 2015...!

We had more than 460 real ales, more than 100 ciders and perries housed in a spacious marquee with ample seating, a huge beer garden and a wide selection of food stalls. All this and music too from a wide range of acts.

SIBA North East Region Beer competition 2015

Brewers from all over the north east entered beers to the competition and were tasted by a panel of judges on Wednesday afternoon. The overall champion beers were :

Gold: Mordue Brewery IPA 5.1%

Silver: Elland Brewery 1872 Porter 6.5%

Bronze: Settle Brewing Company Nine Standards No4 Amber Ale 3.7%

LocAle Awards

The York CAMRA LocAle competition was also run on Wednesday afternoon. Local brewers from within 25 milles of York entered their beers and the winners are shown below. The beers were all available at the festival for everyone to try and enjoy!
