About the Festival

The beer and cider lists are now available! We are offering over 250 beers, 70 ciders and perries, a foreign beer bar, wine and soft drinks.

There'll be live music on the Friday and Saturday as well as a good range of food from mainly local caterers and other stalls. There'll be a large amount of seating — inside the tent if it's wet, with some outside if the weather's good. Children are welcome during the afternoon sessions.

If you're a CAMRA member (or if not, why not join?) please consider coming to volunteer at the festival. There are all sorts of different jobs available from helping to set up the site (and be offered beer tokens to enjoy while the event is open) to working during the festival and of course taking the site down at the end. Jobs during the festival are varied, not just serving the beer and cider. All volunteers will be offered free food and drinks for their efforts. See the staffing page for more information and a link to our online staffing form.

The festival site is less than 15 minutes from York Station and is served by regular buses (12 Acomb Park, 4 FTR Acomb, 13/13A Copmanthorpe and the Coastliner).
