York Beer and Cider Festival is staffed by volunteers.If you're a CAMRA member and would like to volunteer to work at the festival it's still not too late. You can either email email@example.com or just turn up with your CAMRA card and ask for the staffing officer and we'll be pleased to enrol you on the day. If you wish to camp (staff only) please also fill in the camping form (one per tent / caravan).
The festival is moving to a new site, still on the Knavemsire but nearer the racecourse. This has led to a few changes for staff.
Due to the position of our camping are there is no vehicle access when the festival is open. If you arrive while we are open you will be able to park outside the site and you will need to carry your camping equipment to the campsite. If you expect to arrive in a caravan while we are open please contact the staffing manager to discuss. We will try to accommodate your caravan for the first nigh so you don’t need to move it after closing time.
For people in tents we will have on site parking but it will not be next to your tent. This is because we cannot have vehicles on the grass.
If you are not staying overnight we aim to have parking for you, but cannot yet guarantee it. There is plenty of parking on the public road near the site.
You can purchase tickets for the festival from our ticketing portal on Eventbrite for any day of the festival. Advance tickets give you access to the FastTrack queue on each day of the festival. We also have a Season Ticket this year, which gives you entrance to the festival every day and a big saving into the bargain. For all ticket purchases click HERE
