In addition many young jazz musicians have been given their first chance to play with the band in a supportive atmosphere. Evening The Blueflies, a local York based blues band headed up by Miles Gilderdale. Miles is a Grammy nominated writer and guitarist who joined his first band when 13 years old and has played with Acoustic Alchemy, the multi-million selling smooth jazz band for 13 years. Miles has had extensive experience working the British and European Blues and pub circuit A night of quality blues and rock standards is guaranteed.
