Staffing Online Staffing Form - Click Here Our Beer Festival is staffed by volunteers without whom this festival couldn't take place. If you are a current CAMRA member why not consider helping? Who can help? Only current CAMRA members are allowed (from any Branch). What’s involved? Of course we need staff for when the festival is open (from 12pm on Thurs 16 th to 11pm on Sat 18 th ), but we also need physically fit people to set up the site and beer from Sat 11 th to Thurs morning and to take it all down again on Sun 19th . While the festival is open, there are a variety of jobs that need to be done. These include ale, wine, cider servers and helping with the Tombola, Glasses, Tokens, Recruitment , Entrance control, stewarding, non customer-facing and ancillary jobs. It will help me if people can be flexible, but if you have any particular preferences or aversions, I will try to accommodate them. For set-up, we need to erect the perimeter fence, stillage, casks and stalls (The tents and food stalls will be done by contractors)
What are the benefits Complementary festival T shirt, beer & food tokens appropriate to the hours you work. Free entry to the festival. An invitation to the festival workers thank you event. Workers are welcome to drink after the festival closes at night, when site clear-up is complete. There will be a special thank-you for those helping with the take down. There is also free staff camping available (we will have a water supply and toilets). And……you get to sell the real ale message in our biggest public campaign of the year and enjoy the lighthearted camaradie of fellow members! YES IT IS FUN |
