Music

1. Ian Chalk Quartet- Friday afternoon.

the Ian Chalk Quartet performs modern mainstream jazz but that doesn't make it difficult to listen to! This is sophisticated but accessible music that might even make you tap your foot!"

2. Encouraging the Looney- Friday evening:

This duo play very raucous and virtuosic instrumental versions of a ridiculously diverse range of tunes- boogie, jazz, R&B, all delivered with a good helping of Monty Python-esque comedy and on the spot improvisation

3. Broken Ground- Saturday afternoon.

York-based alt-country/neo-folk trio Broken Ground combine finely crafted songs and foot stampin' grooves with rich with harmonies that echo Simon & Garfunkel & The Everly Brothers.
Although still relatively new on the York acoustic scene, they have already shared billings with the likes of Kris Drever, Four Men & A Dog & Martin Carthy and have had live sessions on BBC Radios Leeds & Humberside.

4. Dufflegoats- Saturday evening

Yorks finest Classic Rock 3 piece. Blending Zeppelin, Hendrix, and Cream into their own unique style
